What material can't I deposit in my skip?
The items that we cannot accept include; Asbestos, Paint, Gas Bottles, Televisions, Tyres, Fridges and freezers, Fluorescent Tubes, Vehicle Batteries and light bulbs.


What happens to my waste after my skip has been collected?
Your skip will be collected on the collection date agreed and it will then be taken to our recycling plant in West Calder where the skip will be emptied and sorted by our skilled staff. At present we currently endeavour to recycle up to 80% of the waste we collect from you.


I want to book a skip, what do I do now ?
Simply call our friendly sales department on 01506 873310 or simply use our online quote facilitiy. Our fiendly staff will be more than happy to help you with any questions you might have. We accept payment by cash, credit or debit cards.

 

Do I require permission if my skip will be on a road or public highway?
The answer to this is yes. You will require a permit from your local council; this can be arranged by us on your behalf. If the skip is going to be kept off the road i.e. on your driveway then a permit will not be required. If you wish for us to deal with the permit we can arrange this on your behalf if requested at an additional cost.

How do I know when skip is full?
You must not load the skip higher than the vertical sides or level load markings.


How long can I keep the skip when I order?
Our skip hire are normally up to one week, however if you want to keep the skip for longer we can arrange this for you, just ask.
